Monday Moodboard - Feeling Felty

Yesterday I spent the day on a course learning how to make felt, using both needlefelting and wet felting techniques. The course was run at the Stables workshop in Falkland, at the Centre of Stewardship, an organisation that focuses on living sustainably.

The course itself was run by Linzi Knox, and our goal was to produce a small wall hanging on a woodland theme. We were shown a series of images by a local photographer (alas, I've forgotten her name) who was commissioned to take photos over an entire year. Each of us selected an image as our inspiration, although of course we all interpreted things in our own style!

I plan to continue to work on my piece, adding some hand and machine embroidery, so won't show any images just yet!

So, inspired by this course, my Monday Moodboard for the European Street Team on Etsy is all about......FELT!!!

Edit - I completely forgot to direct people to the host site for other Monday Moodboards. Please take the time to check out star-of-the-east for the full collection made by members of the European Street Team.
