After last years whitewash when Mother Nature threw several tonnes of snow our way, this year we merely contended with gale force winds and lashing rain showers! I've suggested we run a summer fair as well, just so we have a SMALL chance of getting good weather.
After the full three days, my charity fundraising raffle had raised almost £150 for Water Aid. We drew the winning tickets yesterday and today the lady who won first prize collected her Mousetivity Set. Even though she'd already contributed by purchasing raffle tickets, she insisted on giving me another large donation for the collection. I'm thrilled that all our hard work has been appreciated and will be appreciated for many years to come. Phoning the winners is my favourite part of the entire craft fair, as you know that you've made someones day.
Our wee mice are off to their new home in Aberdour, where they'll have a beautiful window sill to sit on over the festive season!
