Dad was an avid amateur photographer, eventually moving into it professionally, and I've been lucky enough to be trusted with boxes and boxes and even more boxes of slides he took when we were all young. I've got a slide/film scanner so will slowly be turning them into digital files.
I'm not scanning everything just now, just the odd one that I think we (my two sisters and I) would like to have right now. Occassionally I come across one that makes me laugh so much it hurts, whilst others bring back memories of family camping holidays, home cut hairstyles (thank you SO much Mum) and spending hours on beaches.
