I really wish I could get rid of this horrible chest cold I have, as I've basically turned into a cat this weekend and slept about 20 hours out of each 24. I AM feeling on the mend though, so hopefully the enforced rest will have done the trick.
Hubby spotted a couple of new visitors to our garden yesterday, and managed to get a couple of snapshots of them - grey squirrels doing a raid on our fat ball feeder. We've never had them visit us that we knew of before, but I'm keeping the fat balls topped up to help the fledgelings (the fattest great tit fledgelings I've ever seen, so perhaps we've gone too far!!!) and the squirrels obviously saw an easy snack.

This one had grabbed an entire fat ball, and was sitting on the branch having himself a wee picnic!
Poor you- hope you feel much better soon. Chuckling at your squirrels. Hubby has been really excited by how quickly the birds were polishing off the seeds till we saw a big fat squirrel "chilling" on the bird table and stuffing his face!!
