Today has been very satisfying and hugely massively insanely aggravating.
I work from home, and up until now have simply handed out our personal number to my clients, putting it onto my website and also my yellow pages and yell.com advertising.
Until recently this hasn't been a problem. I'm not quite sure what's happened but over the last year, it appears that more and more people have been calling to talk about what they want, in my opinion anyway, at totally unreasonable times. 9pm on a Sunday evening is NOT a reasonable time to phone a dressmaker, no matter where they work! I can only assume that they don't realise it's our home number as well, and therefore of course we're going to pick up. I suspect they're anticipating an answering machine to kick in so they can leave a message.
Well, now they can.
I am the very bamboozled and confuddled owner of an HTC Wildfire phone. Now, until now my phones have made calls and sent texts. That's it. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive and nothing remotely complex
but this baby........whooooooooooooooooo.......
I'm learning, but oh dear, it's taking a loooooooooong time!!!!!
I've changed my website and my online adverts and am now on my way to enjoying my time off, like the rest of you, without work phone calls through my dinner.
